In the context of an association of freight forwarders, the secretariat would play a crucial role in facilitating the organization’s activities and supporting its members. providing administrative support to the National Executive Committee, coordinating the activities of CUBAG members and affiliates, organising events, and liaising with the WCO and other stakeholders.

The CUBAG Secretariat is located in Tema, Community One near Tema Sport Stadium. GT-021-4269.

Key responsibilities of the secretariat include:

  1. Administrative Support:

    • Handling administrative tasks such as record-keeping, document management, and correspondence.
    • Coordinating meetings, conferences, and events.
  2. Membership Services:

    • Managing membership databases and processing membership applications.
    • Providing support and information to current and prospective members.

    • Advocating for the interests of freight forwarders at local, national, and international levels.

    • Managing the association’s budget and financial transactions.
    • Overseeing financial reporting and compliance.
  7. Policy and Procedure Implementation:

    • Implementing and enforcing association policies and procedures.
    • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  8. Education and Training:

    • Developing and implementing educational programs and training initiatives.
    • Facilitating workshops or seminars to enhance the skills and knowledge of members.

    • Facilitating collaboration among members and fostering a sense of community.
